Drawing inspiration from Rin(霖), a gentle rain nourishing the Earth’s soul between seasons; Roku Rin aims to craft a ritual for this generation to enjoy sober in an already hazy world. This non-alcoholic botanical drink is a multi-sensorial embodiment of Japan's seasons. While the drink conveys its essence through taste and aroma, the Kanji characters on the packaging illustrate it visually.

Drawing from the narrative quality of the Kanji writing system, the visual identity uses illustration to express the unique character of each season, accented with Roku botanicals. Japanese and Latin letterforms are thoughtfully aligned as a reflection of Monozukuri craftsmanship and precision, honouring both Japanese culture and Roku’s beliefs.






Visual particle stimulation of the four seasons which react to the sound. Roku has previously recorded electronic signals from the botanicals to compose the song ‘Sense the Seasons’ with Aska Matsumiya. This immersive experience is an audio reactive visual orchestra.
